Renita Weaver

Manager of Operations

Renita was born in Ohio, but has spent most of her life as a Hoosier. She has served in a variety of businesses providing oversight in areas such as management, finance, event planning, and more. She enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, camping, and reading. Renita and her husband, Mike are actively involved at Christ’s Covenant Church. Her love for people is deep and she is excited to see how God will use her gifts to play a small part in the mission of Raise the Dough.

Education:  BS Management from Grace College. MBA from Grace College.

Tobe moved to Winona Lake, IN in 2001 from his hometown of Fremont, Ohio to attend Grace College. He met his wife Jaclyn on campus and they were married a week after graduation. They have three children and desire to teach them how to love others well, as they have been loved. As recipients of God’s grace, they were moved to launch this non-profit to help couples raise funds for adoption.

Emily Brenneman

Education:  MA in Intercultural Studies from Grace Theological Seminary, BA in Educational Ministries from Huntington University

Emily moved to Winona Lake, Indiana in 2007 to work for Grace College and has never left! She currently works as Director of Residence Life at Grace and has a passion to see healthy community flourish on campus. She and Kyle were married in June 2008 and they have three children: Asher, Eden, and Owen. Kyle and Emily began pursuing adoption in 2011 and experienced many interrupted adoption plans before adopting their son, Owen in March 2018. Emily has a passion to support families who are pursuing adoption and desires to find ways to help advocate for both the adoptive and birth families in the adoption process!

Neena has grown up in Warsaw area. She met her husband, Ryan, in high school and the two have been married for almost 6 years. Neena was adopted at a young age, and grew up wanting to do the same.  Ryan and Neena grew their family through adoption and have two wonderful sons, Mydin and Jonah. Neena works for Warsaw Community Schools and is a 5th grade teacher at Lincoln Elementary School. While she loves working with children, she holds a special place in her heart for families who are going through or have gone through the adoption process.

Education: BA in Psychology, Sociology, and Interpersonal Relations – Ball State University

Brian has been married to Diane since 1989.  They have four children; one son and three daughters and a grandson named Finley.  He graduated from Ball State University in 1989 with a degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Interpersonal Relations. Brian has been a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church for over a decade and currently serves on the Care Commission there.  In addition, he teaches and is heavily involved in children’s ministries at the Church.  Brian has served on several boards and was grateful for his time spent with the team at the Kosciusko County Right to Life, now North Central Indiana Right to Life.

Marla grew up in Vienna, Austria, and met her husband, Daniel, at Grace College. Daniel and Marla have lived in the Warsaw/Winona Lake area most of their married life where they own and operate two local businesses. During the process of adopting their daughter, Marla often thought how helpful it would be if there were an organization to assist families financially who are navigating this complicated and expensive process. She is excited to see Raise the Dough fill this need by supporting and encouraging others in their adoption journey.

Brandon Schmitt

A lifelong resident of Warsaw, Brandon recently left his career as a firefighter to run the family business with his wife, Angie. Brandon and Angie have been married over 22 years and have four children: Jacob, Wendy, Liza, and Yohannes. God led Brandon and Angie into being adoptive parents in 2014, a journey that has brought them great challenge but even greater joy. Brandon is actively involved at Warsaw Community church where he has played drums on the praise team since 1997, and also joined the Elder board two years ago. He is also currently on the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Board. In his spare time Brandon loves being in the Rocky Mountains with his family.

Education: Grace College BS Accounting and Business Administration; Indiana Wesleyan MBA

Art has an extensive career in the financial sector, working within the orthopaedic industry, for the church, and at higher education institutions across the Midwest. He married his college sweetheart, Stephanie, and they have 6 children with another one expected this year. They have a passion to see children raised in homes with loving parents. The mission of this organization propels Art to work so faithfully so as to see that no child is without a parent.
